Greek Dances

The Greek club offers lessons in traditional Greek Dances under the instructions of our very own Ari, an experienced choreographer from L.A.! You don't have to be Greek to join, neither is prior skill a factor. Just come to class every Tuesday night from 8-10pm with the appropriate mood and with your own requests for regional preferences!

Ari can teaches a variety of regional Greek and Cypriot dances, including Pontiaka (from the Black Sea), Nisiotika (from the islands), as well as dances from the North and West of Greece. 

This Spring we hope to perform at several events, such as the upcoming International Week and the Embassy dinner. New Dancers are welcomed and needed. Those interested should contact Aris at arisgr@gwu.edu
