About us

The Kosmos Hellenic Club of the George Washington University is the Hellenic voice in the community, bringing together Greeks from all over the United States, Greece, and Cyprus. Started in 1974, the club continues to be a leading student organization on campus, participating and sponsoring events on campus and in the Greater Washington Metro Area.

The Kosmos Hellenic Club is committed to bringing to the forefront, important issues that affect Hellenes in the United States and around the world. The club participates and sponsors the following community events:

  • International Week

  • Greek Night

  • Religion Week

  • Greek Dance

  • Lectures on pertinent issues in the Greek Community

  • Regional Conferences

The Kosmos Hellenic Club is working diligently to bring Hellenism to the George Washington University. We are always looking for opportunities to interact with other student organizations within the University and in the community. We are committed to not only learning about Hellenic culture, but also building ties with other organizations to perpetuate it.
