mission
As the Korean-American Student Association (KASA) at
The George Washington University, our mission is to
promote a greater sense of community amongst Korean-Americans,
and to promote greater interaction within the University.
As Koreans in the US find their foothold in society,
it is imperative that there be organizations which can
both facilitate the growth and establishment of a steady
community, and provide a knowledge base by which Korean-Americans
can grow to know more about themselves and others.
By providing special programming, events, and constituency
service, the KASA hopes to unite and serve the Korean-American
community at The George Washington University. The KASA
strives to educate the GW community about the unique
Korean and Korean-American culture through programming.
Moreover to fight ignorance and contribute to the betterment
of society through mutual understanding, it is also
a goal of the KASA to give back to the community through
various outreach service activities
