Welcome to the site of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Alpha-Eta Chapter!


Since 1892, Kappa Sigma has had a significant pressence on the George Washington University campus and has played a major role in the Greek community. Playing an active role in everything from academics to philanthropy, the Alpha-Eta chapter of Kappa Sigma has made it's goal to provide for a better community as well as develope it's brothers into true Kappa Sigma men.

Kappa Sigma Fall Rush 2011 has officially begun! (Updated Tuesday, September 13th, 2011)


Its that time of year again as the Alpha-Eta chapter gears up for another fall rush on Foggy Bottom. Our chapter has major plans for the future and we aim to share the word of Kappa Sigma with as many new members as possible. The schedule that we will be following can be found below:


  • Pizza with the Brothers (Located at Pizza I, across from Thurston Hall) – September 12th, 7 PM to 10 PM
  • BBQ at the Alumni House (Located at the Alumni House next to Thurston Hall) – September 14th, 7 PM to 10 PM
  • Sandwiches and Cigars (Located on the 7th floor of 1957 E Street, NW) – September 20th, 7 PM to 10 PM
  • Mr. Smith's in Georgetown (Located at 3104 M Street, NW) – September 22nd, 7 PM to 10 PM (Invite only!)
  • The Guards in Georgetown (Located at 2915 M Street, NW) – September 23rd, 7 PM to 10 PM (Invite only!)
