Requirements for Majors
In addition to the requirements of Columbian College, the major in Judaic Studies includes:
- Hebr 1-2, 3-4 (16 hours)
- Rel 9, and 106 or 107 (6 hours)
- PSc 176 or 179 (3 hours)
- Hist 158 or equivalent and one pre-modern course (6 hours)
- Literature (6 hours--may be in Hebrew, including 103, 104, 120-1; or in translation, including Clas 100, 101)
- Electives (6 hours)
Requirements for Minors
Required: Hebrew 1-2 and a minimum of 12 credit hours, chosen in consultation with an advisor designated by the Committee on Judaic Studies, from the list of courses pertaining to Judaic Studies.
