Library Resources for Students
The Gelman Library holdings in support of Judaic Studies are the most comprehensive in the Washington Research Libraries Consortium. Highlights include:
- The Special Collections Department's housing of papers of the Jewish Community Council of Greater Washington and the Jewish Funeral Practices Committee of Greater Washington, as well as the Halperin collection of maps of the Holy Land.
- The Jewish Heritage Video Collection (184 videos) to support teaching about Jewish life, a gift of the Charles H. Revson Foundation.
- Electronic resources including the Judaic Classics Library, a CD-ROM containing the full text of the classic works of Judaism, and the Encyclopedia Judaica, a multimedia CD-ROM.
