Professor Reich, former chairman of the Department of Political Science at GWU, serves as a consultant to various United States government agencies; he is chairman of Advanced Area Studies (Middle East - Fertile Crescent) at the Department of State's Foreign Service Institute. Among his numerous publications are Quest for Peace: United States-Israel Relations and the Arab-Israeli Conflict, The United States and Israel: Influence in the Special Relationship, and A Brief History of Israel (Facts on File Press).
