Welcome to The George Washington University’s Institute on Rehabilitation Issues (GW/IRI). The GW/IRI is a collaborative endeavor with the U.S. Department of Education, Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA); Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation (CSAVR); and The George Washington University; and is funded in part by the RSA Cooperative Agreement H264A980002-02D. The Institute is located in Washington, DC at The George Washington University’s Center for Rehabilitation Counseling Research and Education (CRCRE).

The mission of the GW/IRI is to provide quality training materials and continuing education opportunities for vocational rehabilitation professionals in order to maximize the quality of services available for enhancing employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities. This is accomplished through the GW/IRI’s leadership in the National IRI Forum and as a University Sponsor for an IRI Primary Study Group (PSG).
