Welcome to The George Washington
University’s Institute on Rehabilitation Issues (GW/IRI).
The GW/IRI is a collaborative endeavor with the U.S.
Department of Education, Rehabilitation Services Administration
(RSA);
Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation
(CSAVR);
and The George Washington University; and is funded
in part by the RSA Cooperative Agreement H264A980002-02D.
The Institute is located in Washington, DC at The
George Washington University’s Center for Rehabilitation
Counseling Research and Education (CRCRE).
The mission
of the GW/IRI is to provide quality training materials
and continuing education opportunities for vocational
rehabilitation professionals in order to maximize
the quality of services available for enhancing employment
outcomes for individuals with disabilities. This is
accomplished through the GW/IRI’s leadership in the
National IRI Forum and as a University Sponsor for
an IRI Primary Study Group (PSG).
