Announcing The Walter Roberts Award for Public Diplomacy Studies
The Global Communication M.A. Program, the Institute for Public Diplomacy and Global Communication, and the Walter Roberts Endowment are now accepting applications for the 2012 Walter Roberts Award. This commendation is to be given to a graduating graduate student working and studying in the area of public diplomacy. A committee comprised of the IPDGC/Global Communication Director, the Walter Roberts Endowment Chair, and one other member of the WRE Board (to be named by the chair) will review applications and determine the recipient of an award of $1,000. The committee may also choose to offer a second place award ($500) if they determine the applicant pool so warrants. (They also may choose to not offer any award if they do not feel there is a worthy candidate.)
