Culture in Global Affairs
Culture in Global Affairs (CIGA), a research and policy program affiliated
with IGIS, is directed by GW Anthropology professor Barbara Miller. CIGA seeks
to promote the recognition of culture and its policy relevance to global affairs.
CIGA brings together scholars and practitioners from the U.S. and abroad to
enhance global knowledge exchange and communication with the policy community.

International Trade and Development
The International Trade and Development Workshops invite faculty from both GW and other universities to present their work in progress and receive feedback for further research. These workshops are co-sponsored with GW's Department of Economics.

GW International NGO Team
GW International NGO Team ("GWINGOT") focuses on research related to international development NGOs. The group was founded by Stephen C. Smith, Economics; Hildy Teegen, International Business; and Jennifer Brinkerhoff, Public Administration.
