  • 2004 - 2005: Senior Research Associate, Exceed Corporation, Lanham, MD Providing subject matter expertise in Exceed’s federal government strategy consulting projects, including the evaluation of all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Projects within the National Airspace System - Capital Investment Program with respect to Risk Management.
  • 1992 – 1998: Founding Partner/ Vice President and Project Manager, Armas Engineering and Consulting Inc., Turkey. Administered privately owned engineering, design and consulting company employing full-time technical staff. Managed and supervised the design of large infrastructure construction projects. Directed Technical Consulting and Project Administration of Housing Development Projects.
  • 1991-1992: Assistant Planning Engineer (& partner through its sale in 2005), Onsa Construction, Tourism and Commerce Inc., Turkey. Assisted in the program management; resource allocation, project scheduling, cost control and management of several mid/large size construction projects of water distribution systems, water treatment plants and wastewater collection systems.
  • 1990 - 1991: Assistant Project Planner/Civil Engineer, Ucgen Inc/Bechtel Inc., Istanbul, Turkey. CPM/PERT scheduling, project management aide for high-rise hotel building (CONRAD HOTEL Beshiktas of Istanbul) construction project.
