Professional Experience
 
 
Jerrold Post is Professor of Psychiatry, Political Psychology and International Affairs and Director of the Political Psychology Program at The George Washington University. During his 21 year CIA career, he founded and directed the Center for the Analysis of Personality and Political Behavior. Among his extensive publications are The Psychological Evaluation of Political Leaders, With profiles of Saddam Hussein and Bill Clinton (2003) and Leaders and Their Followers in a Dangerous World: The Psychology of Political Behavior (2004). Dr. Post’s political psychology profiles of Hussein, Milosevic, bin Laden and others have been featured prominently in national and international media. He has testified before Congress and the United Nations on five occasions (see below).
