The George Washington University Institute for Crisis, Disaster and Risk Management (ICDRM) is proud to announce the First Homeland Security, Emergency and Risk Management Forum of the 2008 - 2009 academic year on Thursday, October 2, 2008.

Presentation Description:

Professor and Institute Director Emeritus John R. Harrald will address the past, present and future for the Institute for Crisis, Disaster, and Risk Management and share is perspectives of Crisis, Emergency and Risk Management on the national and international level. Please join us in a fitting tribute to Professor Harrald and his contributions to research and education during his 22 years at GWU and his leadership of the Institute for over 14 years.

Refreshments will be served during the 4:00 - 4:30 PM social period and the forum will commence promptly at 4:30 PM.
