Do I need a college degree to work here?

Some positions require formal education, other positions consider the combination of some formal education and experience to qualify applicants for positions.  The requirements for the jobs are listed in the position vacancy announcement.

How will I know what a position pays?

Most positions are posted with a salary range.  Depending on the unique credentials of an applicant (education and experience), a hiring manager may offer a salary within the range.  Before final salary offers are made, the hiring department consults with the Division of Human Resources to ensure the salary is equitable and comparable to other similar positions within the University.

I already work at the University.  How can I apply for another job at the institution?

Both internal and external applicants are invited to apply for vacant positions.  From time to time, departments may have promotional opportunities available to existing employees.  Those positions will be clearly labeled for Internal Applicants.
