Training and Development
The University supports professional development and continous learning for all employees
by providing access to a variety of staff training courses, continuing education
activities, and academic programs. Supervisors are encouraged to work with each employee
to identify job-specific training needs and available resources that support achievement
of performance goals. It is the responsibility of supervisors to be mindful of their employees'
education needs and to strongly encourage employees to take advantage of the various training
programs the University provides.
In addition, supervisory staff should complete the
Mandatory Supervisory Training Program
so that they fully comprehend and consistently apply University policies.
