Maternity Leave
In the event that an employee is not eligible for leave under the
Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA),
the University provides unpaid leave
for a disability resulting from pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions on the same
basis that leave is provided for other medical disabilities.
Annual leave or an
unpaid leave of absence
may be used for non-medical absences related to the birth
or adoption of a child.
