Birthday Time
As part of the university's Service Award Program, employees are eligible for one day of paid time off for the employee’s birthday if they have completed the equivalent of 10 years of full-time service. This paid time off is credited annually starting with the birthday after the employee earns a 10- year service award, provided that the employee remains in a regular position.
Employees must take birthday time off on their birthday or within 10 calendar days before or after their birth date. Birthday time off is not compensable upon termination or transfer to a temporary position.
