Stress Less Challenge
Stress is an unavoidable consequence of life. There are those everyday stressors like work deadlines, traffic congestion, and challenging coworkers. And then there are major stressors like strained relationships, financial difficulties, and care-giving.
Eliminating everyday stressors from our life is unrealistic. Learning how to change our response to these stressors is the key. And that’s important as concern is growing about the long term wear and tear that all of this stress has on our body.
That’s why we’re launching a brand new challenge starting Monday, April 23, 2012. This 4 week challenge will tune you in to the everyday stressors in your life, as well as introduce you to an assortment of stress management techniques.
Prior to the start of the challenge participants will be mailed their stress less packet. During the first week, participants will record in the tracking form the stressors in their everyday life. Each week thereafter a new stress management topic will be introduced. The topic will include a wide variety of stress management strategies for you to pick from and try. Each week participants will receive a newsletter focusing on the weekly theme. The newsletter also provides tips to help you adopt these stress reducing strategies as healthy habits.
Each time participants engage in one of the weekly strategies, they record a point on their Stress-Less log. At the end of the challenge participants will e-mail, fax or mail the completed packet to Colonial Community.
Participants who meet the goal and submit their packet by Friday, May 18, 2012 will be eligible to receive their very own Desk Zen Garden! To win the prize participants must receive 40 of the 49 possible points. Participants who reach the goal will be entered into a raffle to win the grand prize!
Space is Limited!
The challenge is limited to 100 participants so sign up today for the Stress Less Challenge today and start taking charge of the stress in your life. Please enroll by Wednesday, April 18, 2012.
