Faculty & Staff Summer Softball

The GW Summer Softball League is funded by Colonial Community and is administered by the Office of Campus Recreation.  The league is designed to allow all GW employees the chance to meet, greet - and defeat - other GW  faculty, staff, and student employees across the university community in a friendly softball competition between departments.

Friday, June 3rd 2013

LEAGUE DATES

Games played Monday through Thursday from 5:30 – 8:00 from June 3 though August 16, 2013 On the Mount Vernon Campus.

LEAGUE FORMAT

We will play a 6 to 8 game regular season with playoffs. Teams consist of a minimum of 12 players

 We will sponsor a Recreational Division & a Competitive Division.

ELIGIBILITY

All faculty, staff, and students working @ GW this summer are eligible to compete.

Registration:

If you played last year and have an ImLeagues account please go to: https://www.imleagues.com and log in.

Select "The George Washington University" from the middle menu, scroll down and select either the "competitive" or "recreational" league.

Once here in the top right corner you can either select "join a team" if you would like to join an existing team, or "free agent" if you would not like to be on a specific team.

If you have not played before please go to: http://www.imleagues.com/Registration.aspx to register. Select the George Washington University for your school and complete all the necessary information. Once logged in please follow the steps above.

 

Teams consist of a minimum of 12 players.  We encourage players to form a team with their department or other GW colleagues.  However, if you would like to play but are unable to form a team, please sign up as an individual and Campus Recreation will assign you to a team.
