Family Care Consultation and Resource & Referral Service
The University recognizes that faculty and staff often need assistance in finding reliable, quality care for their children as well as elderly or disabled parents/relatives. GW has contracted with Family Care Resources to provide consulting and referral services for child care, elder care and related issues. The University pays the entire cost of the service; there is no charge to the employee.
Recognizing that each employee has difference needs, Family Care Resources will provide:
- Individual counseling sessions on campus 2 days per month
- Telephone consultations at a time convenient to the employee
Individually prepared information packets and family care counseling services are available for all regular faculty and staff who need assistance with childcare or elder care.
