Dates and Logistics

May 14 - 24, 2009 - Arrive Prague on May 14 and Depart Budapest on May 24.

Students are required to make their own travel arrangements. Please be in Prague by the afternoon of May 14, 2009. Please depart Budapest no earlier than the morning of May 24, 2009.

Prague Accommodations: Students have the flexibility to stay where they want within the confines of their individual budget. It is recommended that you book a hotel, hostel, or sub-let an apartment near Old Town in Prague. The group meets daily at the Hilton Prague Old Town before each day's activities. Please contact Ron Morgan at rbmorgan@patriot.net for a list of recommended hotels.

Budapest Accommodations: Again, students should reserve rooms based on their preferences. It is recommended that you book a hotel, hostel, or sub-let an apartment near the Marriott Budapest since this is where the group will meet daily. Please contact Ron Morgan at rbmorgan@patriot.net for a list of recommended hotels.

Travel from Prague to Budapest: A chartered bus will transport the group from Prague to Budapest on May 19. This is approximately a 6 hour trip. The group will stop for a one-hour lunch break in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Upcoming Trip

The 2009 Trip is scheduled for May 14 - 24, 2009. Students will fly to Prague where they stay for 5 nights then a bus takes the group through Slovakia to Budapest on May 19. Students stay in Budapest for 5 nights. The group trip officially ends on May 24, 2009; however it is highly recommended that students stay longer in Budapest and/or travel to other parts of Europe.
