About Us

The members of the GW Mind-Brain Institute are highly research-active and are deeply committed to interdisciplinary cognitive neuroscience research.  Our numbers include recipients of prestigious awards (e.g., Fulbright Scholarship; National Science Foundation CAREER and HOMINID awards), and authors of research published in prestigious journals (e.g., Science, Nature Neuroscience, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Psychological Science).  Recent faculty hires in our various departments have come from top universities across the country (e.g., Carnegie Mellon University, Johns Hopkins University, Washington University-St. Louis, Columbia University, and Florida State University).  Our research expertise is highly sought-after:  we have served as editors and reviewers of literally hundreds of manuscripts and grants.  Collectively, we have been awarded well over $2.2 million in grant funding within the last three years alone.
