Visiting the Chemistry Department If you come by car please use the visitor parking garage
at 22nd and H Street (see bottom map). Enter from the Eye
Street visitor entrance and bring your parking ticket to the
department for validation. From the North Take the direction
of Northern Virginia on the Beltway (495) and get on the
George Washington Parkway (top map). Follow the Parkway
to the Theodore Roosevelt bridge exit and cross the
Potomac River. Turn onto 23rd Street and proceed to the
parking garage. From the South take 395 North and follow
the signs to the Memorial Bridge. After crossing the
Potomac turn onto 23rd Street and proceed to the parking
garage.
You can come to GWU by metro (get off at the Foggy Bottom station on the Orange or Blue line). The Corcoran Hall (Chemistry building) is at the corner of 21st and H Street, a five minute walk from the metro stop. Enter the building and turn left to the Chemistry Office. updated 9/8/2006 |
