The following alert notification was sent to Alert DC subscribers by the District Government:

“In observance of National Preparedness Month during the month of September, the District of Columbia will conduct mock preparedness drills on September 26 and 27 at multiple locations throughout the city. They are drills only.  Law enforcement and first responder agencies in the District will immediately notify the public once the drills have begun.”
