The University is saddened to report that a window contractor working on the construction of a new residence hall on F St., NW, fell from the 7th floor to his death at approximately 1:35 p.m. Clark Construction, the contractor for the development project, stopped operations on the site in order to conduct an investigation. The Occupational Health and Safety Administration also will conduct an investigation.

The University extends its deepest sympathies to the family of the victim and his colleagues in this tragic moment.
