Naturally Nano is an ACS President-Sponsored Symposium!
Our symposium will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2009. The schedule is now online and can be viewed here. Also, abstracts for all of our featured talks are online and can be viewed here.
Congratulations to Jasmine N. Hunt, Nalini Gupta, Kathryn (Kato) L. Killops, Michael D. Dimitriou, Brian Lin, and Frank Leibfarth from the University of California, Santa Barbara! They have been selected as the Spring 2010 GSSPC!
This symposium will feature talks from leading scholars with an interest in biological- and nature-inspired nanotechnology. This research is driven by a co-dependent relationship between humans and nature and includes topics such as self-assembled molecular architectures, bio-engineered nanomaterials, biomimetics, and drug delivery. Due to the field's rapid emergence, potential environmental and public risks as well as ethical concerns will also be addressed. Please join us at Naturally Nano to discover new connections between nature, engineering, and nanotechnology and have the opportunity to engage in discussions concerning science, safety, ethics, and policy that surround this rapidly growing field.
Please check this website often as we will be continuously updating it.
