Michael Faust. '96
Kristin Bertolina Faust, '97

Kristin and Michael met while they were students at the GSPM, but did not start dating until several years later. These two graduates work hard and have taken their GSPM experience and now run successful businesses in politics and the financial field. We are delighted and grateful for their financial support of the GSPM Dean's Fund for Excellence. As of this writing, they shared wonderful news that they are expecting their first child!

Michael Faust became President and COO of Pacesetter Financial, a mortgage brokerage company in Sacramento, California, in October 2001. Prior to that he worked as Marketing Director and Vice President at Pacesetter. Michael also worked at the California State Legislature and from 1995 to 1996 he served as the Political Services Director of the Texas Democratic Party.

Kristin Bertolina Faust has been running Bertolina & Associates for four and a half years. Her business is political and fundraising strategy and she cut her teeth by working on Lois Capps special election in 1998. She also worked raising money for Adam Schiff in his campaign against James Rogan. Prior to starting her own business Kristin was Finance Director for a little known candidate who we now refer to as Lt. Governor Cruz Bustamante.
