Darius Anderson
Darius Anderson is the founder and CEO of three of California's most distinguished companies,
Platinum Advisors, LLC, a government relations and public affairs firm; Kenwood Investments, LLC, a
California private equity real estate development firm; and Gold Bridge Capital, LLC, a San Francisco
based pension fund advisory firm. With a background that encompasses over twenty years of experience
in business, real estate and politics, Mr. Anderson is an entrepreneurial leader whose influence and
experience has impacted some of California's most prolific business ventures, acquisitions and developments.
Mr. Anderson founded Platinum Advisors, LLC in 1998 as a one-of-a-kind company where ingenuity, relationships
and innovation came together to forge policy solutions in an ever-changing political and economic environment.
The success of Platinum Advisors is due to Mr. Anderson's state-of-the-art working environment of teamwork,
creativity, and strategic thinking that allowed the company to grow rapidly into one of California's most successful
public affairs and lobbying firms with over 150 current and past clients.
Widely recognized as one of California's most effective political strategists and fundraisers, Mr. Anderson has
and continues to advise many of California's highest-ranking political and business leaders, including former State
Treasurer Phil Angelides, former State Controller Steve Westly, U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein, Senate President Pro
Tem Don Perata, Assembly Speaker Fabian Núñez, former Oakland Mayor and current State Attorney General Jerry Brown,
former California Assembly Speaker and San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown, and corporate executives Ron Burkle, Eli Broad,
and Brad Grey.
Utilizing his extensive relationships in the financial community and his knowledge of the public pension fund system, in 2006
Mr. Anderson launched Gold Bridge Capital, LLC. Gold Bridge is currently working to raise over a billion dollars for a variety of
clients, specializing in alternative investments including private equity buyouts, bank debt, mezzanine debt, distressed debt
management, venture capital, expansion debt, real estate and several other asset class niches.
Before founding Platinum Advisors, Kenwood Investments, and Gold Bridge Capital, Mr. Anderson spent five years at The Yucaipa
Companies as Chief of Staff and as Vice President of External Affairs for Ralphs Grocery Stores, Inc., a Fortune 500 company.
During that time, Mr. Anderson was responsible for The Yucaipa Companies business developments, including property acquisition
and development, government affairs, community relations, external corporate communications and public relations. As a Senior
Member at The Yucaipa Companies he played an integral role in the real estate development of the River West Development in
Sacramento. Mr. Anderson also served as the Executive Director of the Ralphs/Food 4 Less Foundation.
In addition to managing his multiple business ventures, Mr. Anderson takes philanthropy seriously. In addition to his chairmanship
of the National Advisory Board at The Institute of Governmental Studies, Mr. Anderson serves as the Finance Committee Chair for the
Robert A. Toigo Foundation Board of Directors and as a member of the Jackie Robinson Foundation Board of Directors.
