Todd Webster

President, Webster Strategies
Todd Webster operates an eponymous strategic communications firm providing public affairs, advertising and online advocacy consulting to political candidates, non-profits and sports franchises.
Before launching Webster Strategies in 2005, Todd served as communications director and chief spokesman for U.S. Senate Democratic Leader Tom Daschle and for veteran U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-Wash.). In 2000 he was deputy communications director on the Gore and Gore-Lieberman campaigns, serving as the campaign's liaison to the broadcast and cable television networks. He has been a producer for MSNBC's Equal Time with Paul Begala and Oliver North and has won awards for political advertising.
Todd has appeared on CNN, Fox, and MSNBC as a political strategist and was called a "high-octane communications director" by the Associated Press.
He has been named one of Roll Call's "Fabulous Fifty: Movers and Shakers Behind the Scenes on Capitol Hill" and a "Rising Star in American Politics" by Campaigns & Elections magazine.
Todd received his M.A. from The George Washington University and his B.A. from Bowdoin College.
