Kathleen Schafer began Leadership Connection in 1995, filled with a burning desire to help individuals and organizations within the country's political system. Her goal was to bring transformative change to an otherwise stagnant environment. What started as political leadership training however, soon blossomed in scope to embrace the corporate world, community groups and even everyday empassioned men and women working to create change in their lives.
Schafer's vast experience in political consulting, higher education, strategic communications, Ayurvedic practices and human potential create a unique approach to helping people connect with their personal power. Her focus is on challenging individuals to channel insights from these varied disciplines in order to become more effective leaders.
From university classrooms and corporate boardrooms to Capitol Hill and the radio airwaves, in the United States and internationally, she has literally helped thousands of people from many walks of life progress in their journey toward more effective leadership.
Schafer currently provides GSPM students with one-on-one political leadership coaching. It is her goal to help students identify their leadership talents and how to put them to use in the political arena.
