Robert Fullinwider
Associate Professorial Lecturer - Ethics and Political Management (PMGT 260)
Robert K. Fullinwider (B.A., University of Kentucky, Ph.D., Purdue University) teaches the Ethics & Political Management course at GSPM. He recently retired as Senior Research Scholar in the Institute for Philosophy and Public Policy at the University of Maryland, where his work encompassed topics ranging from military manpower policy, affirmative action, and college admissions to civic renewal, youth participation in sports, and multicultural education. Before coming to Maryland in 1979, he taught at SUNY-Albany, Mary Washington College, and Virginia Tech. He has held visiting appointments at Harvard, University of Melbourne, and U. S. Naval Academy. His first book, The Reverse Discrimination Controversy, was published in 1980. His most recent book, co-authored with Judith Lichtenberg, is Leveling the Playing Field: Justice, Politics, and College Admissions (2004). Fullinwider was a member of GSPM’s founding faculty.
