Greg Frazier

Associate Professorial Lecturer - Film and Politics (PMGT 265)

Greg Frazier joined the Motion Picture Association of America in 2004, with an extensive background in government affairs, primarily trade and international policy.

Frazier oversees the work of a global staff of policy experts to advocate the motion picture industry's interests before governments at all levels in the US, and around the world. Frazier is also a member of the senior management team of MPAA.

He spent more than two decades in public service, lastly as chief agriculture negotiator in the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR), serving with the rank of ambassador. He held the position of chief of staff at the US Department of Agriculture, and prior to that, served in several professional staff positions in the House of Representatives. After leaving government, he provided public policy consulting services to clients around the world.

Frazier is a member of the US government's Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Services and Financial Industries, the National Film Preservation Board, and on the part-time faculty of the Graduate School of Political Science Management at The George Washington University.

He has a master of arts in history from the University of Connecticut and bachelor of science in history and political science from Kansas State University. Born and raised in Kansas, Frazier lives in Washington, D. C. with his wife and daughter.
