James Dillon
Associate Professorial Lecturer - Ethics & Leadership (PMGT 265.11)
James Dillon (M.B.A. University of Chicago, M.A. G.W. University) first came to the Graduate School of Political Management as a student in 2002, and wanted to give back to the school by teaching ethics and leadership. In nearly two decades of service as a Marine Corps non-commissioned officer, and later as an officer in the Navy, he brings a wealth of practical experience in leading others in a variety of roles from counter-terrorism to aerial reconnaissance to speechwriting. He received numerous awards while at the U.S. Naval Academy, including an award for ethics and leadership in 1994, and works to bring many of the ideals of service and immovable standards strengthened at the Academy to the world of politics.
