David Anderson

David M. Anderson (Ph.D. University of Michigan, 1990) has taught “Ethics and Political Management” over 30 times at The Graduate School of Political Management since 1995.  He has also taught in the Philosophy Departments at George Washington University, the University of Cincinnati, and the College of Charleston.  He is currently Vice President, Government Relations at The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars, where he oversees congressional and state appropriations.  He was previously Executive Director of Youth04 http://www.youth04.org.

 Anderson is the Author of Youth04: Young Voters, the Internet and Political Power (W.W. Norton, 2004) and Co-editor with Michael Cornfield of The Civic Web:  Online Politics and Democratic Values (Rowman and Littlefield, 2002).  Anderson was the Task Force Director of the GSPM’s Institute for Politics, Democracy and the Internet and was a part of the Institute from 1998 to 2002.  He was a regular contributor to The Baltimore Sun from 2001 to 2004 and has contributed op-eds to ten other newspapers, including The Washington Post, The Miami Herald, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Fort-Worth Star Telegram, the Maryland Weekend Gazette, and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.  He has also written about communitarian public policy and family policy and has delivered over 100 papers and speeches.
