Global Gender Program
About Us
Teaching
We have increased the number of faculty teaching about women's/gender issues, especially as related to security. We have also created new courses in the Elliott School for BA and MA students, and will work to expand study abroad opportunities related to global gender issues.
Research
We will continue to increase research on global gender issues through a program of faculty and student research grants, and through partnerships with other universities and institutions. We will sponsor events that contribute to research through the ongoing Global Gender Forum series and an annual or bi-annual conference convening scholars and practitioners.
Policy Engagement
We will establish, increase, and deepen partnerships with institutions that have a policy focus, with particular attention to gender and security in contexts of violence or post-conflict. We will partner with a select number of international women's leadership programs.
