The George Washington Global and Entrepreneurial Finance Awards

The Global and Entrepreneurial Finance Institute offers a Prize for an article published by a faculty or other non-student member of the George Washington University in a refereed Journal, either in the two years preceding the nomination deadline or in that year itself.  The subject of the article must be in an area of the Institute’s charter and focus – global finance, entrepreneurial finance, or the intersection of the two. Candidates may be from any part of the University. The Prize, worth $5000, will be awarded at the Annual Dinner of the Institute.

The Global and Entrepreneurial Finance Institute also offers a Prize for a paper by a student in the George Washington University, completed either in the two years preceding the nomination deadline or in that year itself.  The subject of the article must be in an area of the Institute’s charter and focus – global finance, entrepreneurial finance, or the intersection of the two. Candidates may be from any part of the University but should be under 35 years of age. The Prize, worth $2500, will be awarded at the Annual Dinner of the Institute.

The Institute Global and Entrepreneurial Finance Award

The Global and Entrepreneurial Finance Institute periodically offers a $10,000 Prize for a paper prepared under its sponsorship or based upon research preformed under its sponsorship. The paper will represent a significant contribution to the understanding of global and entrepreneurial finance or their intersection.

A prize will be awarded only if, in the opinion of the referees, the nominated work is of the highest quality.
