| This was Wright's second painting based on the STS-5 launch on November 10, 1982. For several years it was on exhibition at Galaxy Center, Cape Canaveral on temporary loan from the artist. It is now in the possesion of the artist and is exhibited at the G.W.U. Alumni House in Washington, DC. In honor of the 25th anniversary of man's space flight, Wright was invited to lecture at Johnson Space Center in Houston as part of the celebration which took place on October 16, 1983. The subject of his lecture was "Realism Beyond Photography: In Pursuit of the Real." |
