Apply now via the Web! An Electronic Graduate Admissions Application is now available through GW's website at www.gwu.edu/gradinfo. This online process allows you to submit your graduate application and electronically send requests for letters of recommendation. To receive the traditional printed application by mail, please call (202) 973-1130.
If you choose to complete a paper application, submit the following documents to The George Washington University, [fill in address here]
- Completed application form with non-refundable application fee
- Official transcripts from each college or university attended
- Official GRE test scores
- One letter of recommendation
- Statement of purpose (250 to 500 words)

Transfer of Credit
With advisor approval, up to 9 credit hours of coursework may be accepted as transfer credit. Such coursework must have been taken within the past two years, must be related subject matter, must not have been applied toward another degree, and must have been successfully completed with a grade of B or higher.
