Welcome to The George Washington University Department of Forensic Sciences. Our graduate degree programs offer students an opportunity to learn from professionals in all aspects of forensic science. Our courses are aimed at meeting the needs of professionals in the field of forensic science to go out and pursue careers in many of the disciplines found in crime laboratories and law-enforcement agencies. Our unique location in Washington, DC, provides students with opportunities to interact with federal, state and local agencies in the exciting background of the nation's capital.

Degree Disciplines:

The concentrations in Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Chemistry, Forensic Toxicology, Forensic Molecular Biology, are offered on-campus at Foggy Bottom. The concentrations in High-Technology Crime Investigation and Security Management are offered off-campus at the Graduate Education Center in Arlington, VA.

A graduate certificate program is also offered in Forensic Investigation. Admission to this program requires five years' experience as a forensic investigator.
