All students in SPHHS graduate programs, as well as the Ph.D. program in Epidemiology offered in cooperation with the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences, are automatically considered for merit scholarships. Teaching assistantships are available to M.S. students in Exercise Science and Ph.D. students in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Tuition fellowships may be available through the Physicians in Fellowship Programs or through tuition benefits for employees of the George Washington University. Students seeking research assistant positions should contact their departments or check job postings available on the University or SPHHS website. Departmental Fellowships and Scholarships
All applicants are automatically considered. No application is required. Preference for scholarships is given to outstanding applicants who apply early (two to three months before the stated application deadline). Scholarships are generally limited and awarded for the entering semester only.
Available to outstanding M.H.S.A. applicants who will enroll full-time in the long-term care concentration. Academic awards include: tuition (3.5 semester credit hours for up to four semesters) and a graduate administrative assistantship at the Wertlieb Institute, earning $10 an hour while working 10 hours per week.
Fund established by a donor in memory of the victims of the Holocaust. Current SPHHS students who are direct descendants of U.S. veterans of World War II are eligible to apply. A call for applications is sent out each November via the SPHHS listserv; several awards of $6,000 each are made for Spring tuition.
GWU Hospital (GWUH) Women's Board Scholars Program
SPHHS students in good standing who have been continuously employed at GWUH for at least one year upon application are eligible to apply. In late summer, a call for applications is distributed via the GWUH and SPHHS listservs.

GW Presidential Administrative Fellowships
Offers recent GW baccalaureate graduates the opportunity to gain relevant work experience within the GW administration while pursuing a master's degree in their chosen field. Phi Delta Gamma Scholarship Fund
