PURPOSE AND ELIGIBILITY
For the 2008-2009 academic year, the District of Columbia Daughters of the American Revolution (D.C. DAR) will be awarding one fellowship of $3,000 in tuition. Applicants must be United States citizens and current GW master’s or PhD candidates, enrolled for at least six credits a semester in one of the following fields:

The following Master's programs in CCAS:

  • MA - Museum Studies (with a focus on American Fine/Decorative Arts)
  • MA - American Studies (with a focus on American history, colonial period through 1830, and/or Historic Preservation)
  • MA -History (with a focus on American history, colonial period through 1830, and/or Historic Preservation)
 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
The successful applicant will appear at a D.C. DAR forum during the Spring or Fall Semester to describe the intended use of the funds.
