Application for the ETL Masters Degree and Graduate Certificates

The George Washington University wants to help make your application process as direct and easy as possible. Applicants are to submit their applications through GW's online system, which maintains confidentiality through the assignment of a personal identification number and allows you to complete the application at your convenience.

If an applicant is unable to use the online application process, he or she must request an application from GSEHD's Office of Admissions & Student Services via fax (202) 994-9283 or email gsehdadm@gwu.edu or by mailing a written request to the address below.

Additional Required Materials

The online application includes the option to submit your resume, statement of purpose, and letters of recommendation electronically. Supporting materials from third parties, such as transcripts and test scores, as well as the signed GSEHD Statement of Understanding, may be mailed to:

GW has several campuses. For the ETL Masters degree and Certificates, please select: Campus Code 3 - Off Campus and Distance Education Programs

International Students

Please use the institution code R5266 to have your Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and Test of Written English (TWE) scores sent to the GSEHD admissions office. Please use the institution code R5266 to have your TOEFL and TWE scores sent to the Graduate School of Education   A minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper based) or 213 (computer based) is required for consideration for admission.

 

Application Deadlines

·   Spring Admission: October 1st

·   Summer Admission: March 1st

·   Fall Admission: April 1st

 

Applications will be considered and processed on a first come first serve basis after the application deadlines.

Applicants may log into the Apply Yourself System to check on the status of an existing application.
