Requirements: Admission

Environmental Resource Policy is a multidisciplinary program, and accepts applicants with widely varying backgrounds. Therefore, no specific academic or professional preparation is given priority in acceptance to the program. Students in the program may attend either full-time or part-time.  Requirements include a Bachelor's degree completed with a Grade Point Average of 3.0 or higher, the general Graduate Record Examination (GRE), and at least two letters of recommendation.

In order to satisfactorily complete the core requirement of an applied statistics course (PPOL 202), applicants must have completed and passed an introductory statistics course. Suitable applicants who lack this prerequisite will be admitted with a stated deficiency in introductory statistics that must be fulfilled by the end of the first year in the program.

Although the program considers both spring and fall admissions, applicants are strongly encouraged to enter the program in the fall semester.
