Matt freshman year had all the ingredients to be in an all male emocapella singing group: sweat and tear washed hooded sweatshirts, a sick perversion for singing really high with his eyes closed, a fascination with tricky squirrels, and a love for peanut butter. By fate he read a flier and the rest was music history (If you consider being kicked out of an elevator lobby history).

Matt is a polisci major and is from the cold climates of Colorado, were hearts don't only shatter, but freeze, shatter, then melt, erode and are carried away by mystic summer winds. Then while walking to class he trips over the sedimentary rocks that are comprised of his heart and other minerals and he falls on a pointy stick.
