EMeRG Continuing Medical Education Courses:

To be able to recertify as an EMT-B in Washington, D.C. an EMT is required to complete at least 24 hours of continuing education per year, in addition to a 24 hour refresher course. A Nationally Registered EMT-B is required to complete 48 elective hours in addition to the 24 hour refresher. It is because of these requirements, and the desire to continually make better the services which we provide, that EMeRG offers Continuing Medical Education courses to its members. EMeRG, because of our close ties to the community, is pleased to announce that these training sessions are now open to those non-members who wish to further their own medical education.   For more information, please see the CME page.
