Undergraduate Internship Program

The Elliott School of International Affairs encourages its undergraduate students to participate in internships, as they serve as an excellent opportunity for students to gain professional experience that complements their academic coursework and interests. An internship (IAFF 195) is an academic course requiring practical work in the field of International Affairs. The Elliott School offers For-credit (1-3 credits) or Zero-credit internships.

Internship Application Deadlines

Summer 2008 – Friday, June 6, 2008
Fall 2008 – Friday, September 19, 2008
Spring 2009 – Friday, January 30, 2009

If you’re interested in earning academic credit for a summer internship, please call (202) 994-3002 to schedule an individual appointment with the Internship Coordinator. This information session is mandatory for any student wishing to apply for IAFF 195.
