Angella
Griffin
Director, Graduate Student Career Development

Angella joined GSCD in May 2006 and became director in late 2008. She has over fourteen years of experience in career services including counseling, managing experiential learning programs and facilitating career management courses. She was trained by the National Coalition Building Institute and in 2006 completed a Fulbright Fellowship Seminar to Germany for International Education Administrators where she traveled to the Czech Republic in addition to Germany. She received her Bachelor's degree from Hampton University and a Master's from the Graduate School of Education and Human Development at GWU.
At GSCD, Angella will
- Oversee the development of specialized career development programs, workshops and activities for graduate students and graduate alumni.
- Supervise the career development team.
- Engage in employer outreach and development.
- Provide individual career coaching assistance to graduate students and graduate alumni.
