Background:
Dr. Kuzio is serving as Visiting Assistant Professor of International Affairs in the Elliott School's Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies, for the 2004-2005 academic year. He previously served as an adjunct professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Toronto. He also was a senior research fellow at the University of Birmingham (UK) and resident fellow at the Centre for Russian and East European Studies at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Kuzio is one of the leading experts on contemporary Ukraine and has taught several courses dealing with the post-Communist transition of Ukraine as well as NATO and EU Enlargement in the post-Communist world. He is the author of State and Nation Building in Ukraine: Perestroika to Independence, co-author of Politics and Society in Ukraine, and co-editor of Ukrainian Foreign and Security Policy: Dilemmas of State-Led Nation Building.
