Message from Dean Brown

The Elliott School is fundamentally a community of remarkable people—faculty, students, staff, alumni, supporters, and friends. Over the years, this community has grown tremendously. Our student body is now comprised of 2,800 brilliant undergraduate and graduate students. Our alumni now number more than 16,000, and they hold important positions in the public, private, and non-profit sectors around the world.

In both the short term and the long term, one of the keys to the school’s future is student recruitment. We must continue to encourage the best and the brightest to join us at the Elliott School. With that in mind, we have produced a new video on the advantages of an Elliott School education. This video is now posted on our website, and I invite you to take a look.

I would also like to invite our alumni, in particular, to help us identify and recruit the next generation of Elliott School students—at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Whenever you come across someone with a deep and abiding interest in international affairs, someone who is keen to make a difference in the world, someone with a good head and a good heart—please point them in our direction. You can help us build a great community and a great school.
